BROOKS (click name for field notes)

Brooks came to SeaWorld Florida in 1999 when he was rescued as an orphan at Port Canaveral.  He was hand reared there.  In early 2001, he was transferred north to the Columbus Zoo in Ohio to grow and put on weight.  In December of 2001, he and another animal in Columbus, Trident, were flown by commercial airplane to Orlando where they were transferred to SeaWorld to await release.  He was released with Moriah and Trident at Cutler Ridge on Feb. 5th, 2002. After being monitored for several months, Brooks was brought back to SeaWorld on May 13th, 2002 where he was kept until April 1st, 2003 when he was released again into the Black Point Marina area. Brooks is continuing to do well and will be monitored thru this winter.
